Some people claim that planning a trip is just as much fun as taking one. They might be right. That feeling of anticipation and endless possibility is hard to beat.

If this sounds like you, then you are in the right place. Here you will find information on my favorite places and also recommendations for places I think you will like too!

I hope you find my insights helpful when putting together your next adventure.

Recommendations

Old Town Scottsdale

The Downtown/Old Town Scottsdale area is known for it's Western history and vibrant nightlife.

Add to that: delicious food, beautiful art and excellent shopping. It' s no wonder their area is one of the top vacation destinations in the country

Arcadia, Phoenix

Arcadia is found just West of Downtown Scottsdale on the South side of Camelback Mountain. This neighborhood was originally citrus groves, but now has some of the best shops, bars, and restaurants in the valley. This area is great for travelers who enjoy a more "local" feel.

Downtown Phoenix

Downtown Phoenix is packed full of funky little bars, trendy restaruants, and street art. Here you will find stadiums for the Phoenix Suns, and the Arizona Diamondbacks. You will also find museums, the Symphony Hall and concert venues.

North Scottsdale

Known for great shopping, golf, and high end restaurants, North Scottsdale is what some may call "Paradise". Although there isn't the same nightlife scene as South Scottsdale, there are museums and hiking  by day so even the active traveler will stay busy.
