Located in the Arts district of downtow, the Old Town Tortilla Factory has a 1400 sq foot patio complete with palm trees and twinkel lights. The restaurant itself is in a 75 year old adobe home making it a charming spot whether you dine indoors or out. Just a stone's throw away from the Oasis home, Carlsbad Tavern is fun and funky restaruant serving up New Mexican dishes. New Mexican cuisine is similar to Tex-Mex or Southwest, but highlights green chili flavors. Most items on the menu have a bit of spice. The only thing more unique than the menu is the atmostphoere. It is a bat cave themed restaurant modeled after the Carlsbad Caverns of New Mexico. The inside is fun and the patio is awesome. This place is a hit for young and old.
